Programming Material Decay and Empowering People with Periods through pH-Activated Materials.

The Blot Project aims to reduce sanitary waste by developing materials from existing waste streams within the agriculture industry. The result, a bio-based pH-activated material, uses its properties to program the material’s eventual decay while empowering self monitoring of menstrual blood to detect common vaginal illnesses and diseases.
